Kimberly Ann McDermott
Kimberly Ann McDermott, 51, of Old Orchard Beach, died Thursday, September 26, 2013 after an 11 year fight with cancer. She was born on November 6, 1961, in Kankakee, Illinois, a daughter of James N. and Mary A. (McDowell) Rogers. Kim graduated from O’Fallon Township High School in 1979, followed by Southern Illinois University in 1983. On October 19, 1986, married Brian J. McDermott. Kim worked for the Galarneau family, most recently at Harborview Investments. She is survived by her husband, Brian; two sons, James and Sean; her mother, Mary Ann and two brothers, Scott and Brad Rogers. She will surely be missed.
A family memorial will be held on the beach in Ocean Park.
Arrangements are by Coastal Cremation Services, Portland.
