Pearl W. Gendron
Cape Elizabeth – Pearl W. Gendron, 96, went to be with the Lord on November 3, 2013. She was met on her journey home by her parents, James and Dora (Wilson) Whatley of Zellwood, Florida; her husband Charles; her daughter Mary Lois Canales; and her son, Jimmie Hobkirk.
Pearl was born in Live Oak, Florida on July 31, 1917. She will always be remembered for her wit and wisdom of life and for her love of a good joke with her many friends. She was a diligent crafter, a good seamstress and had a love for fishing.
Pearl is survived by her son, Paul Hobkirk and his wife Colleen of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida; son John Hobkirk and his wife Sally of Starke, Florida; and daughter Patricia Hood and her husband William of Buxton, Maine.
The family would like to thank Cape Memory Care of Cape Elizabeth, Maine and Hospice of Southern Maine for the excellent help, care and love that was shown to our mother in her time of need. God bless you all.
