Richard A. Raybine
Richard (Dick, Rick) Raybine, 69, of Lebanon, ME & Venice, FL died on Sunday October 5, 2014 at the Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough of lung cancer. He was born in Clinton, MA on December 24, 1944, the son of Charles M. Raybine and Elizabeth T. Brockelman and grew up in Lyman, ME.
Dick attended Kennebunk High School and went into the service for two years straight out of high school. He worked many jobs over the years, and retired from Rockingham Electric in 2009.
Dick was a member of the Rochester Country Club for close to 40 years, and golf was his passion. He had a huge heart and if you were lucky enough to be his friend or family there wasn’t anything he wouldn’t do for you.
He is survived by his soulmate of 45 years May; his three children Susan Raybine, Laurie Comstock, and Bill Van Houten; his sisters Geraldine Cousins, Dolores Turner, and brother Charles Raybine; as well as 5 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
There will be a burial service at Southern Maine Memorial Veterans Cemetery in Springvale, Maine on October 27, 2014 at noon
