Melody Lee Richard
Melody Lee Richard, 55, of Bridge St., Westbrook, died unexpectedly on Saturday June 4, 2016. Born in Calais, she is a daughter of Franklin E. and Sylvia P. Conlogue Mitchell.
Melody enjoyed dancing, oldies music, soft rock, dining out especially at her favorite restaurant Long Horn, watching police shows, CSI, Ghost Whisper, astronomy, spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She had a holy reverence for passed away relatives and rarely missed Sunday morning Bible studies on the radio.
She was predeceased by a sister Penny Mitchell and a brother Michael Mitchell.
She is survived by her lifelong partner of 25 years Michael J. Dougherty of South Portland
Her children Candice Mitchell of Westbrook, Arthur Mitchell of Auburn, Michael Mitchell of Portland and Nichole Lizotte of Sabattus.
Her siblings, Cindy, Renee and Kim all of Portland, Cathy of South Portland, Steve of Ct and Frank of Portland.
She is also survived by nine grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
Burial was held in Calvary Cemetery.
