Kent R Bowley
Kent R. Bowley, 55, of Portland Maine, passed away Wednesday March 22nd, 2017 at Mercy Hospital. He was born July 26th, 1961 in Portland, Maine to Kenneth Bowley and Patricia Small. He graduated from Deering High School class 1979, than shortly after entered the Marines. He loved to travel the world and make new friends everywhere he went. Kent came from a family of fisherman and spent most of his life on the ocean. He had traded in his life on the sea’s to take care of his family and become a fish broker. Kent had a creative entrepreneurial spirit an owned several successful
businesses throughout his life. Kent was extremely generous and was always there to help whoever needed it. He had been fighting a long battle with liver disease for over fifteen years that eventually took his life.
Kent is survived by his two daughters Kendra Ventura and Kelly Dacey of New Bedford, Massachusetts and his son James Bowley of Miami, Florida. He also will be leaving behind his wife Christine Bowley of Portland Maine, as well as his mother and brother, Patricia Bowley of Old Orchard Beach and Kevin Bowley of Portland. His service will be held 5:00PM Wednesday March 29th, 2017 at Grace Baptist Church, 476 Summit Street, Portland Maine. There will be a reception to follow at 7:00PM at Siano’s Restaurant, 5 Brentwood Street Portland Maine.
