Jesse William Purves
Jesse William Purves passed away unexpectedly on August 1, 2017. He was born June 29, 1970 in Rochester, NY to Miciah and Gretchen (Gallatin) Purves.
Jesse graduated from high school in Skowhegan, ME and then from Michigan State University in 2007 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. He established his own wealth management business, which he had for 10 years.
Jesse was a charismatic leader and brilliant entrepreneur. ~He was exceptionally generous and loved people. He would give anyone a helping hand if they needed help. ~He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, hosting the best get togethers, vacations and holiday gatherings. Most of all Jesse was a devoted family man and cherished his children more than anything else. ~~
Jesse was preceded in death by his father, Miciah Purves. He is survived by: his mother, Gretchen Purves; children, Molly (13), Miciah (11), and Maverick (9) and their mother, Julie Perrino, all of Falmouth; sister, Tina Dinsmore and her husband David of Cape Elizabeth; sister, Holly Emery and her husband Mark of Falmouth; brother, Caleb and his wife Mariah of Windham; sister, Heidi Speer of Nashville, TN; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church, 360 Canco Rd., Portland, ME from~5pm to 6pm on Sunday, August 6, 2017. Following the service, friends and family are welcome to attend a small reception at Jesse's sister’s home in Falmouth.
