James Daniel Baldwin, 39, passed away December 17, 2017 in Portland, Maine. He was born June 8, 1978 in St. Johnsbury, VT to Daniel and Deborah (Sabens) Baldwin Sr.
James attended Lyndon Institute in Lyndonville, VT and went on to work various construction jobs in Vermont and Maine. He enjoyed fishing, playing video games, building tree houses and makeshift rafts for “Moffitts Hole”.
James was preceded in death by: his father, Daniel Henry Baldwin Sr.; grandmother, Grace Elizabeth Butterfield; uncle, Michael Sabens; and grandfather, Charles Baldwin. He is survived by: his daughter, Amelia Grace; mother, Deborah Baldwin of Port Charlotte, FL; sister, Jeannie Baldwin-Lowell and her husband Ed of Farmington, ME; brother, Daniel Henry Baldwin Jr. and his wife Laura of Augusta, ME; grandmother, Evelyn Dunn of St. Johnsbury, VT; nieces and nephews, Julia and Evan Lowell of Farmington, ME and Ryliegh and Aaron Baldwin of Augusta, ME; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
