Pam McNally, 66, of Portland Maine passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at her home in Portland. She was born in Waterville on January 11,1952, daughter of the late Paul and Jean (Yeaton) Allen.

She attended local schools, graduating from Deering High School Class of 1970 and from the University of Southern Maine with her BA in Political Science in 2010.

Pamela was a certified Maine Mental Health Rehabilitation Technician.

She devoted her life to raising her four children and being active in the Social Services community.
Many will remember her from her time as the Midtown Community Services Coordinator with the Portland Police Department,
as the Director of the Women’s residences at the YWCA, as the Support Services Supervisor at the Oxford Street Shelter for men,
and for her Crisis Intervention Services at Ingraham (774-TALK and 774-HELP).
She truly believed in assisting all of those in need, always giving, always listening and volunteering where needed.

She loved Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Slipper and the Rose, Star Trek, Harry Potter, music she could hum to, and any British TV show you could throw at her.
Her children cannot thank her enough for nurturing and providing them with an affinity for the imaginative and the magnificent.
She adored spending time with family, grandchildren, weaving, reading, baking, making the best pickles ever and having a laugh.

She is survived by her daughter Erin McNally and her partner John Tibbetts of Windham, by her daughter Ceara Sargent and her husband Stephen Sargent, their children Edwin, Alita and Marcus of Raymond, by her son Louis Keegan McNally IV, his daughter Gracie McNally of Windham, by her daughter Caitlin Houser and her husband Dillon Houser of Portland, by her former husband, Louis McNally of Ormond Beach, Florida, by her sister Roberta Reid and her husband John Reid, their children Lauren Kane, Ryan Reid and Allie Reid of Portland, by her sister Barbara Allen of Augusta, and by her extended Kosovar family, Hasan, Emine, Leunora, Krenare, and Esa Rugova.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Sunday, June 24, 2018 at the Chapel of the Ferry Beach Retreat & Conference Center, Saco, ME. A potluck reception will follow on the beach at 21 Ferry Park Ave from 12:00 pm to 2:00pm.
