Ann Marie McAllister
Ann McAllister, 93
SCARBOROUGH-Ann McAllister, formerly of California, MD, passed away peacefully June 27,
2018, at the Landing at Cape Elizabeth.
Ann lived her entire life, except for the last 4 years, in her beloved Maryland. She cherished
her Patuxent River home, built by her brother Dick, and took pride in the fact that she
hammered in a few nails herself. She enjoyed sharing her love of blue crabs, black labs,
colorful birds, and July 4th gatherings.
A secretary by trade, her favorite job was her last one -
gift shop attendant at the Calvert Marine Museum in Solomons, MD.
She leaves behind her three children Mark McAllister (wife Deanna) of Newport News, VA,
Mary Henthorn of Port St Lucie, FL, and Noreen Sholl (husband Bob) of Scarborough, ME and 5
grandchildren Jason,Alan,Susan,Andrew,and Bethany.
The family would like to extend sincere appreciation to the entire staff at The Landing for
helping to ensure her last year of life on this earth was as comfortable as possible
