Archie "Sonny" Thiboutot
Archie “Sonny” Thiboutot, 73, of Falmouth, passed away July 4, 2018. He was born July 5, 1944 in Boothbay Harbor to Archie and Mildred (Barter) Thiboutot.
Sonny attended local Boothbay Harbor schools. He was a truck driver for over 40 years. He married Terry Crawford in Cumberland on September 10, 1982.
Sonny loved his kids and his family. He was very sociable, helpful and easy to talk to. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, hunting, fishing, camping, and being outdoors. He was a member of the United Bikers of Maine and enjoyed his involvement with Stoney’s Lobster Run.
Sonny was preceded in death by: his parents; 3 sisters, Mitzi, Joanna, and Maxine; brother, Billy; and son, Ryan. He is survived by: his wife, Terry Thiboutot of Falmouth; daughters, Kim Peaslee and her husband, Cory of Edgecomb and Kristin Welton and her husband, John of North Carolina; sons, Chad Chase and his wife, Jessica of New Hampshire and Tim Bailey and his wife, Ruby of Damariscotta; 8 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of Sonny’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at the Boothbay American Legion Post 36, 25 Industrial Way, Boothbay, ME 04537.
