Helen Jane White
Helen was born January 13, 1939 to Dora (Pike) Brown and John Brown Sr. Helen Jane passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Aug, 21, 2018.
Helen was born in West Kennebunk where she grew up with her 7 younger siblings; John, Roland, Dorothy, Ruth, Raymond, Dolly and Richard. She met the love of her life Edgar Duffy White and married on January 20, 1957. They spent 61 glorious years together raising their four children and eight grandchildren.
Helen saw people’s beauty from the inside out and was always generous with a compliment. She made everyone feel welcome and comfortable. She was a lifelong yard saler and well known for her apple knobby cake. Helen and Duff loved to dance and won contests together. She devoted her life to her family, siblings, children, grandchildren and friends.
Surviving members of Helen’s family are; her children Blaine White, Mark White, Vicki White and Wendy Emmons, her grandchildren; Seth, Nicholas, Colin, Cody, Ian, Brian, Kyle and Jayne.
Helen is predeceased by her husband of 61 years on March 18, 2018.
