Lorraine M. Ebrahim joyfully walked into the presence of her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.  She was born September 6, 1930 in Union City, NJ, the daughter of Dr. Frederick Cracco, MD and Ruby Anna Quinlan.  She trained and practiced at St. Vincent’s Hospital Nursing School, in Manhattan, NY for several years before becoming the mother of 3 sons.  She later was employed by The RCA Research Center in Princeton, NJ as an Industrial Nurse.
After retirement, she moved and lived in Stuart, FL and later in Quakertown, PA, to help in raising 2 of her grandchildren.  In 2012, she relocated to Portland, residing at 75 State St Assisted Living Facility.
She leaves behind 3 sons and daughters-in-law:  Kim and Gail Ebrahim of Quakertown, PA, Dr. Kurt Ebrahim, DO and Maria Ebrahim of Falmouth, ME, and Rev. Keith Ebrahim and Linda Ebrahim of Manila, Philippines, as well as 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Her family wishes to recognize and extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at 75 State St, Portland for her care over the past 6 years, and also to the staff at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, Scarborough, for the excellent end-of-life care that was provided – served with dignity and compassion.
