William (Bill) Rodney Chase of Bryant Pond ME, took his last breath on Saturday, March 30th at Maine Medical Center.  Bill was surrounded by family when he left this world.  He was only 43 years old, and his exit was unexpected and brought on by natural causes.
Parents, Lois and Rodney (Buster) Chase welcomed Bill into this world with the help of Stephens Memorial~Hospital, Norway ME on January 9th 1976 at 10:37pm.  He attended Telstar High School in Bethel, ME and graduated in 1994 as one of the top of his class.  He played basketball and baseball throughout High School with 2 of his closest friends, Chris Howe and Sean Gilson.
Bill immediately joined the work force after High School, starting at Walmart pushing carts.  He just had a knack of conquering everything he took on and pushed to the top, eventually hitting Store Manager.   Bill was currently employed as Store Manager at Ocean State Job Lot.
Bill adopted a son (Colin David) and welcomed 3 beautiful children into this world, 2 girls and a boy.   Cassadi Diane Chase, Zoe Kaitlyn Chase, and Griffin Daniel Chase.
His thirst for the wilderness is something that gave him peace and comfort.  Bill enjoyed years of hunting, fishing, boating and exploring with his father, Buster.  His time spent was a true gift that a father could ever hope for.   Bill was the favorite first born boy to the family and the light of his mother’s Lois’s life.  Her eyes sparkled whenever he was near.  He has a little sister, Victoria that will always be his little sister.   Bill gave her a good challenge every day, and taught her how to strive for the best. He wasn’t easy to catch up to.
Bill was charismatic, comedic, free spirited and fun loving.   He loved vacationing in the tropics, and chilling with the Iguanas.  He didn’t leave this existence without impacting many and his final gift was made to New England Donor Services.
A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 2-8pm at the Trails End Restaurant, Newry, ME, for a final farewell.  There are endless stories, too many to tell here.  “If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembered joy.”  Cheers, Bill.
