Gerald “Jerry” Lee Robbins passed away on August 16, 2022. He was born on April 27, 1936 in Stonington, ME, the son of Kenneth Eugene Robbins and Marguerite Rice. Jerry attended Deer Isle High School before entering the military.
Upon moving to Hartford, CT, he worked as a produce sales manager at Regional Market for over 25 years. He was affiliated with the Knights of Columbus of Enfield, CT, was a 7-year army veteran, and a parishioner of St. Peter’s in Portland, ME.
Jerry’s favorite past time was listening to and singing classic country music. He was an avid Red Sox fan and U Conn Huskies Women’s Basketball fan.
Jerry is preceded in death by his wife, Germaine E. Robbins; and his parents Kenneth Robbins and Marguerite Rice; his sister Marie McHenan; and his brother Norman Robbins.
Jerry is survived by his daughters Darlene Mullin and her husband Patrick of East Hartford, CT, Tina Renaudette and husband Raymond of Enfield, CT, Mary Ann Lobel and her husband Steve of Sarasota, FL, and Elaine Ridenour and her husband Robert of Agawam, MA; his loving companion of 36 years Marguerite Cartonio of Portland, ME; his seven grandchildren, Jennifer Mullin, Christopher Mullin, Rachel Renaudette, Melissa Lobel, Glen Lobel, Caitlin Ridenour, and James Ridenour; and his sisters, Carol Ann Moreau of Rollinsford NH and Denise Wilbur of Bangor ME. With many nieces and nephews.~

The family wishes to thank the staff at Harbor Chase Assisted Living and Memory Care, as well as Kindred Hospice for the compassionate care he received during his final year.
