Violet Mae Willyard
Violet Mae Willyard was born on December 3rd, 2002 and as soon as she entered this world, she was a ball of energy, full of bubbly goodness and had more brains and creativity in her pinky finger than most have in their entire bodies.
She was born in Kansas to me (her Mummy) and her father, Paul Willyard. In 2017, Violet moved with me, her step-dad, Lonnie Stinson, her step-brother, and twin sisters to Cape Elizabeth, Maine. Violet loved the ocean and all the beautiful beaches in Maine. She was passionate about art, animals and was becoming quite an amazing baker.
Drugs took all of that away from her on August 8th, 2023. An accidental overdose caused our sweet girl's heart to stop and she left this world. But, we feel her near. We know she's at peace, and somewhere she's still creating beautiful art, making amazing bread and cuddling every animal she can get her hands on.
Violet is sticking her little toes into the warm sand of a never ending beach and enjoying the sound of the ocean as it hits the shore. That's how we will remember her; eyes squinting in the sunlight, little freckles dappling her cheeks and a big toothy grin on her face. We love you Violet. To the moon and back.
